These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the True Scanner mobile application (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. App Functionality and User Responsibility

True Scanner is a utility application designed to digitize physical documents, receipts, and notes into high-quality PDF or JPEG formats. You acknowledge and agree that:

Data Security: Your scanned documents and generated PDFs are stored locally on your device and/or synchronized via your personal cloud storage account. We do not maintain backups of your documents.
Data Loss: You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your important scanned documents. We cannot recover lost files if you delete the App or lose access to your device. We shall not be held liable for any loss of data.
Content Legality: You are responsible for the documents you scan, digitize, and share using the App. You agree not to use the App to process illegal, unauthorized, copyrighted, or highly classified materials without proper authorization.

2. Subscriptions and Auto-Renewable In-App Purchases

The App may offer premium functionalities (such as unlimited batch scanning, advanced OCR features, removing watermarks, and cloud synchronization) via auto-renewable subscriptions ("PRO Subscriptions"). By purchasing a PRO Subscription, you agree to the following billing terms:

Payment: Payment will be charged to your app store account at the confirmation of purchase.
Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Billing: Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Cancellation: You may manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal by going to your App Store Account Settings after purchase.

3. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You shall not:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the App.
Modify, translate, or create derivative works based on the App.
Use the App in any manner that could disable or impair the App's functionality or associated cloud services.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property rights in the App, including but not limited to design, graphics, document processing algorithms, code, and text, are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to use our trademarks, logos, or brand identity.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We expressly disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the edge detection, OCR (Optical Character Recognition), or PDF generation features will be 100% accurate, error-free, or meet your specific requirements.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall we, our affiliates, or employees be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use or inability to use the App to scan or store documents.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer resides, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
